Costume parade activities
Colour the parade, match costumes to their items and design outfits for four characters. Ten printable pages include characters and cut-out costume pieces. Choose from six activities below. Each Design Your Costume PDF includes its matching outfit pieces on page 2.

Why a facilitator guide for a colouring page?
“Which one is skin colour?” “Why are there two mums?” This one-page PDF offers a colouring invitation, possible responses to students’ questions, ideas for trying, mixing and layering colours, and a short note from CARL’s co-founders.

At the costume parade
Colour four friends in the costume parade: a butterfly, a dinosaur, an astronaut rolling along in a wheelchair and a cat, with jack-o'-lanterns at their feet. Try your colours in the swatches first, then colour the picture.
Print the student sheet for your class. The teacher guide is a separate file.
