One structure, not a costume change (the honest part)
The straight version: CARL builds every lesson on one structure, and BOPPPS was where that structure began, then we layered in the gradual release phases and leaned toward 5E for the naming. So a CARL lesson won’t print as a bare six-box BOPPPS form, but the BOPPPS arc is genuinely the spine of it. If BOPPPS is the model your program or your PD is built around, you’ll recognize all six moves in every lesson you make.
