The 5E model, already inside every lesson you make.
Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate. You know the arc, and you know how long it takes to build it out properly for every topic. CARL’s lesson structure is built on the 5E moves, so when you make a lesson, that arc is already there, drafted, and yours to shape.
The five moves, and where they live in your lesson
Every lesson you generate carries the 5E arc. Here’s the map:

You didn’t have to assemble it. You get to adjust it.
One structure, not a costume change (the honest part)
Here’s the straight version. CARL builds every lesson on one structure, a synthesis of 5E, gradual release, and BOPPPS. So the 5E arc is already there in what you generate, alongside the moves those other models get right. The one thing it won’t do is strip itself down to five 5E headings and nothing else. That full structure is the point, not a limitation.

Who reaches for this
Science teachers
where 5E is the house style and the exploration-before-explanation order matters most.
Teacher candidates and new teachers
who’ve been handed 5E and a blank template and a Sunday.
Anyone in a district that names 5E
who wants the pedagogy without rebuilding the wheel each topic.
The honesty beat
AI can be wrong, sometimes confidently. Every lesson lands as an editable draft, and nothing reaches your students without you. The 5E structure gives you a strong starting point; the professional call on every move stays yours.
